Resources are the basic building blocks in Final Factory. There are several types of resources, available at locations around the map. Here we discuss the various types of resource points or POI's, points of interest, within the game.
Asteroids[edit | edit source]
Asteroids are the source of the basic Ores in Final Factory. They can be used to harvest resources using 
Mining Station and also researched by 
Asteroid Research Station producing Research to unlock new technologies.
Asteroids have limited amount of resources starting from 100k Ores. Further asteroids usually have higher amount of ores.
There are three types of Asteroid: Iron Asteroid, Bauxite Asteroid and Silica Asteroid.

Terra World[edit | edit source]
Terra Worlds are the inhabited planets in the galaxy you traveled and can also be researched by 
Planetary Research Station producing Research to unlock new technologies. They can also be mined for 
Urso Citizens to create 
Dark Matter Structures.

Main Sequence Star[edit | edit source]
Main Sequence Star is one of the bright burning objects, like our sun. Used to house a 
Dyson Platform.

Red Giant Star[edit | edit source]
A star nearing the end of it's life, ready to supernova at any moment.

Neutron Star[edit | edit source]
Neutron Stars are the collapsed core of a supergiant star. They provide a large bonus to research.

Comets[edit | edit source]
Comet Fragments are the main, early game location of 
Ice and 
Organic Compounds. After Researching Organic Compounds, Comets can be caught and harvested for Ice using {twi|Comet Catcher|Comet Catchers}}.

While Space Rocks are useless at this time, they float in space, filling the empty places in the game.
